Crime Criminal and Orkut - RED ALERT

I have been always against the website owned by Google - Orkut.com , and now here is the proof that I am not alone at this. The program RED ALERT by Star News in India has highlighted the main issues with the site, how it is being used by Criminals in India and how crime is being conducted right under the nose of Google and no one is doing anything about it.

I guess after seeing this proof, many parents will block Orkut from their home computers and will keep an eye on their kids as to what they do when they are online. This is scary, and mind you, do not think that this cannot happen to you.  I am sure after this Orkut’s popularity will definitely drop amongst Indian parents.

I feel bad for poor beings who have no idea how bad this internet world is and give away their real details on websites like orkut. I am strictly against giving personal information online, as this is doorway for criminals to get inside your home. Please watch the program below and refrain from using Orkut, this is the best advice one can give.

These are alarming issues for not just Orkut, but for all other Indian sites like Bigadda, Minglebox, Bharatstudent etc . Mind my words, wait and watch and you will see another story come on BharatStudent, the porn site of India, they have spammed almost every Indian site they could find on net, and I am sure Indian Media channels are watching carefully as to what this site is upto. Very soon, they will fall on their nose too.

    I personally feel orkut isnt violating any law,neither is it posing threats to parents regardingtheir young kids.Orkut is trying hard to curtail down the degree of freedom it used to give and rightly so.Previously,even when you are unknown for a person and vice-versa,still you can keep an eye on his activities on orkut effortlessly.But now the scenario has changed a great deal.Thanks to google team.Anonymous people cant read scraps sent by anyone to the person they wish to,they cant even view their uploaded pics nr can they scrap to aa strange unless and until that person permits you.Drawbaks can be curtailed down but at the same time this is my appeal to all those people who have nurtured a notion about orkut is that lets advocate it.It is unique and gives you a feeling of meeting your old pals wherever they may be.

  2. i absolutely agree wid u ppl can do anything…i just realised it after i saw some1 using my pic on a fake profile by the name samira sharma… i wanted to know what can i do about it if any suggestions please let me know
